This painting is a study in emotional resonance, expressed through abstraction and a nuanced use of colour. Working predominantly with shades of green and vibrant floral hues, I sought to evoke the sense of a hidden garden—part memory, part imagination—veiled in mist and softened by time.
Loose, gestural brushwork and subtle blending lend the piece a sense of movement and atmosphere, while delicate floral forms seem to emerge gently, like whispers surfacing from the depths. The aim was never to depict a specific scene, but rather to convey a mood—a fleeting impression where nature and emotion quietly converge, where light dissolves into shadow, and beauty is found not in exactness, but in ambiguity.
This work reflects my continuing interest in how abstraction can carry personal significance while allowing space for the viewer’s own reflection. I hope it offers a moment of pause—a breath—and perhaps a trace of a place one has never truly seen, yet somehow feels instinctively familiar.
